Back to work...

I am so thankful to have a job.

BUT... things have been quite stressful these days. Hopefully, some of those things will be resolved in the new year.

I'm heading back to work tomorrow. I suspect many of you also will. However, there are some high tech companies here in Silicon Valley that are off for another week- no pay.

I saw Gran Torino with Clint Eastwood. If you can get past the barrage of four letter words, the movie is pretty good. However, it is very crude in the language department. I also saw Frost/ Nixon. Thought it was good and held my interest but, with my perspective, I would have rented it rather than paid full price.... but half the fun of seeing the movie is "getting away," I suppose.

Family is doing good. My brother is attending MacWorld this week for his company. Steve Jobs won't be attending. Might be the last year for MacWorld. That wouldn't surprise me... times are tough.

I finally got an iPod Touch...for free. That's a long story. The main thing is- I really enjoy having it. It's great for podcasts (yes, I listen to other people's podcasts) but I also like some of the applications and music, etc.

I downloaded a bunch of old "Man From Uncle" episodes from iTunes...that was cool.

I'm working on a book right now. Getting back into the swing of things... haven't devoted much time to it the last few months, but I feel the energy to do it now.
